WOW!!! Time sure has flown by since I last updated this blog. Truth be told, it was my dear sister who informed me that it was time for a new post. I guess some people actually do check in and read this.
We have settled in nicely since July '08 and have done some updating around the yard and the house. We have moved a shed (later caught it on fire, but we did manage to save it), pulled out a few trees, insulated the front exterior wall, got a few kittens, revamped the upstairs bathroom and made a laundry room, painted Jacob's room, inherited a dirt bike, got a new puppy, and most recently 2 little bunnies have arrived.
Last year (Sept 09) we took a trip to Ontario. This was the highlight of the year really. It had been 7 yrs since we had last seen my family and there were even a few "babies" (now young children) to meet as well. We all had a great time. It was really nice to be there when the farm where Dad grew up was auctioned off.......end of an era, but lots of special memories.
